Chapter 01
Mowing on a schedule, with edges that follow the curb
Regular mowing is the part everybody sees. Marco's crew mows residential yards and commercial frontages in and around Yakima, and keeps the grass at a steady height through the growing season so it isn't scalped one week and shaggy the next.
The poured concrete curb around the beds does a lot of the work. It gives the mower a hard line, so the edge stays crisp, the grass doesn't creep into the mulch, and trimming along it goes quickly. A lawn that runs against a curb keeps its shape.

Fertilization and seasonal treatments
Mowing keeps a lawn tidy. Feeding keeps it thick. Fertilization and seasonal treatments are on OMG's own list of lawn services, and they follow the calendar instead of landing all at once.
Spring is for waking the turf up before summer. July in the Valley is hard on grass, so the goal then is a lawn dense enough to hold up and crowd out weeds. Fall treatments help the roots going into winter. What a particular yard needs is easiest to say once the crew has seen it.
Chapter 03
New lawns where the old one has failed
Some lawns can't be saved by feeding. Compacted soil, patches that burn out every summer, or a yard that was never graded right will keep losing to the same problem. In those cases OMG starts the ground over and installs a new lawn.
A new lawn goes in with the rest of the yard: curbed beds drawn first, sprinkler lines in before the grass, so the finished lawn doesn't get cut up afterward to reach a pipe.
